If you’re looking for a small SUV that doesn’t compromise on style, spaciousness, and standard tech, then the Chevrolet Trailblazer should be your first look. This compact crossover has been a winner ever since its nameplate was revived for the 2021 model year, providing drivers with a more agile and affordable alternative to the midsize Blazer. But while there’s plenty to love about a used Trailblazer, the new 2024 model takes your driving experience to the next level with a wide range of upgrades across the board.

You can find the new Chevy Trailblazer for sale here at Ruge’s Chevrolet. We believe in ensuring that our customers have access to all the information they need to confidently decide what vehicle is right for them. Whether you’ve driven a Trailblazer before or are considering one for the first time, there’s plenty to learn about the 2024 model. So let’s dive in and take a look at what this all-new Trailblazer has to offer.

Trailblazer 101

Before we get into what’s new for this year, let’s look at what the 2024 Trailblazer has to offer. It has two rows of seating, and the back row has a 60/40 split so that you can fold it down either partially or entirely. With the rear seat completely down, you can access 54.4 cu.ft. of cargo space. The base engine is a 137 hp 1.2L Turbo I-3 or, for more power, you can upgrade to the 1.3L engine, which provides 155 hp. Trim levels include the LS, LT, RS, and ACTIV.

The LS is the most affordable option, and it includes a wide range of standard features. The LT is still simple and affordable, but it comes with upgrades like keyless open, remote start, roof rails, and heated exterior mirrors. The RS comes with all of the features on the LT plus the 1.3L engine, exclusive RS badging, red interior accents, a heated flat-bottom steering wheel, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The highest trim, the ACTIV, includes all of the features on the LT trim plus the 1.3L engine, off-road suspension tuning, a skid plate, heated steering wheel and front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.

Sleek Design

As the old saying goes, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. With one look at the new Trailblazer, it’s easy to see that the 2024 model is more modern than its 2023 counterpart. The front fascia has been redesigned and looks refined and intricate on every trim level; however, it isn’t the same appearance on every trim level because each trim has its unique fascia, grille, and lighting designs to give each level a unique personality. This makes it easier to get a Trailblazer that stands out from the crowd by choosing a trim that best reflects your personal style. Trims also have new wheel designs, giving you yet another upgraded accessory that can help you make an entrance.

Many popular exterior colors are carrying over from 2023, including Mosaic Black Metallic, Fountain Blue, and the bold Nitro Yellow. Two new options are also joining the lineup on the lots of Chevy dealers this year. Cacti green is a great choice for nature lovers who want a unique shade of paint that fits perfectly in the great outdoors. Copper Harbor Metallic is a classy earth tone with some extra shine that looks good just about anywhere.

Standard Technology

If you’re interested in getting one of the Trailblazer’s more affordable trim levels, then you’re in luck. Several great tech features that were previously included only on higher trims are becoming standard on the 2024 model. The base LS trim will offer a large 11.0-inch touchscreen and an 8.0-inch driver information display so that you can keep track of camera views, safety alerts, and other infotainment features. The larger screens make it easy to see what’s going on with a quick glance, so you can get your eyes back on the road ASAP.

Standard cruise control on the LS makes highway driving easier and helps you avoid fatigue and a sore ankle on long road trips. Push-button start is also a new standard; with this feature, you can leave your keyfob in your pocket or bag while unlocking the doors, starting the car, and locking up after you park. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto let you use several smartphone apps through the Trailblazer’s infotainment system cord-free, so you can use your preferred navigation system, music streaming platform, or podcaster while en route. These added convenience features make the Trailblazer LS feel less like a basic trim, but it still comes at a more affordable price point that makes it great for budget-conscious drivers.

Standard Safety Features

No matter where or how often you drive, it’s important to stay safe on the road. While there’s no substitute for an alert driver, advanced safety features can help keep you more aware of your surroundings and step in during tricky situations. The 2024 Trailblazer comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, a comprehensive suite of driver assistance features.

Following Distance Indicator lets you know how far away you are from the vehicle in front of you, taking the guesswork out of keeping a safe distance. Forward Collision Alert lets you know when impact with the vehicle in front of you is imminent so you can take action; Automatic Emergency Braking can step in if you don’t brake in time, and it will supplement manual braking if your pressure isn’t enough to avoid a collision. Front Pedestrian Braking uses sensors to detect not only potential collisions with other vehicles and large obstacles but also with pedestrians entering your path from the side. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning uses a combination of alerts and gentle corrective steering to keep you from unintentionally drifting out of your lane.

IntelliBeam High Beam Assist uses sensors to detect surrounding traffic and ambient light levels and turns your high beams off and on automatically in order to give you optimal visibility without distracting the drivers around you. The Trailblazer also comes standard with Chevy’s Teen Driver technology, which can help you safely teach your younglings the rules of the road. A new LED headlamp design provides you with excellent visibility day or night. And the Rear Vision Camera on the base model has been newly updated for the 2024 model year; with high definition, it’s even easier to accurately discern your surroundings while backing up and parking.
